Static Contraction Update

Well, the Explosive Fitness Static Contraction Training machines are here, and fully assembled, and I have had my first workout with them. I am still waitng for the weight bench to be shipped, since it was on back order, but I was able to temporarily substitute a makeshift bench, until the real thing arrives.

Here are my preliminary observations. First, my workout went incredibly fast because I didn't have to stop and change weight plates between exercises. Other than moving the bars, there was virtually no delay in moving from exercise to exercise. It did take me a few minutes to understand the best positioning for the bars, but that is a one time learning curve issue. Even then, the workout still went faster than with traditional weight machines.

Because the resistance is simulated using an electronic meter to measure the force you are exerting, it is much easier to know how much you are actually lifting, since you don't have to estimate bar weight variations from exercise to exercise.

I found that working on the Explosive Fitness Static Contraction Training machines was much easier than on traditional strength training machines, and that was especially true of the leg press machine, which I believe helped to improve my form, and the result I was getting. I need to emphasize that my workout was more intense than I had experienced with traditional strength training machines, and without the need for spotters as I got to using higher weights.

Now that my routine is back underway, I will be reporting to you on my actual results, as I continue the workout. Feel free to share your results with us, whether you are using the Explosive Fitness Static Contraction Training machines, or traditional strength training machines. We'll consider them for posting here, or in the forum!

The Latest Isagenix Report.

My wife Kathy started the Isagenix nutritional program two days ago, and has already lost 8 pounds, and an inch around her waist. She reports that she has felt fine even though the first two days are the initial part of the cleanse when caloric intake is greatly reduced. I can attest that she has not been irritable or anything like that in the last two days. If anything, she has been more upbeat than ever.

And, my team member who was originally a little skeptical has now lost 15 pounds, and has two friends that asked her what she was doing, and who now want to get on board themselves. Nothing succeeds like success.

Finally, another husband and wife combo on our team is seeing progressive weight loss, and are feeling great pursuing the system. So far, the news is all good!

Also, during this past week I had the opportunity to try the Isagenix Slim Cakes, and I am very pleased to report that they were incredibly tasty. These are gingerbread cakes with nutritional value unparalleled in a snack or dessert, or in any other food item for that matter. For a guy who has a killer sweet tooth to be happy with these little gems is really saying something. Isagenix has a real winner here.

As for me and my wife, we are very much looking forward to combining my Isagenix routine with Static Contraction Training, and that will start next week! I think it's going to be an incredible combination.

Explosive Fitness Delivers!

The Static Contraction Training Machines are here! I'll be assembling them this weekend, so hopefully, I will be up and running at least for Monday. I must confess, I am a little pressed for time this weekend, but I'll be making time to get these set up.

My thanks to Tony Reno over at Explosive Fitness for agreeing to participate in our continuing test drive.

Isagenix Working Like A Charm.

I switched to a new nutritional program called Isagenix a week before Thanksgiving, and during a season when I normally put on about 10 pounds, I have actually lost a total of 15, and I have been pleasantly surprised that my energy level has been excellent. Not only that, but I have been the only one in my household that did not come down with the flu this past two weeks, and I don't think it's an accident that I am the only one who has regularly been on the full nutritional supplementation contained in the Isagenix system.

Need more proof? My father, who is not one to bite his tongue when something you recommend doesn't work, has lost 10 pounds, and loves the system. You'd have to know my father to understand what a strong testimonial that is! The bottom line is that his results are similar to mine, including the continuous energy level throughout the process.

I also have two other team members who are getting great results with the system, and one of them actually has a great deal of experience with dieting, and was originally very cynical about whether it would work. She's a believer now!

I have found the Isagenix system to be very convenient. One or two meals a day are done with meal replacement shakes, which are actually very tasty. The remainder of the system is easy to follow, and as previously reported is working quite well.

I can't wait to combine this system with my Static Contraction Training routine, which will switch over to the Explosive Fitness equipment this week. The machines will be delivered on Tuesday or Wednesday of this coming week. I'll report back to you the minute they are assembled and I've had a chance to do a workout.

Explosive Fitness Equipment is on the Way!

I just spoke with Tony Reno over at Explosive Fitness. They are the ones that make the only gym system specificallly designed for Static Contraction Training. Tony confirmed for me yesterday that he was shipping a complete gym system for our ongoing "test drive". I hope to have it set up and operational shortly, so now I'll be able to report to you on how the system works compared to using fitness center equipment. So, stay tuned.

My Starting Fitness Evaluation.

Below are my starting fitness evaluation results. I will be retesting around September 22, 2003. This test is pretty typical of fitness tests that are administered at fitness centers around the country. Some may involve slightly more or less detail, but this is a sample of what you can expect.

I'm Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired!!!!

In early June, I made some decisions to change the way I do things when it comes to taking care of myself physically. You see, during my transition from the full-time practice of law to my new endeavor, the development and expansion of my Internet businesses, I had allowed myself to get substantially off track in my physical well being. And it came at the worst possible time because my new daily activity was much more sendentary than operating my law firm, and running from court to court. Can any of you relate to that?
